Stories of Impact and Testimonials

  • We know that when students are active they are more engaged in learning and have more positive associations with school. We feel Beyond Sports can help us build that for our students. – Washington Montessori Elementary School.
  • We are so appreciative of the opportunity to partner with Beyond Sports. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students have thoroughly enjoyed their sessions with you, and I am grateful for the exposure they’ve gained to new sports they may have otherwise never experienced. We appreciate your commitment to enriching our students’ lives and building character through sports. Thank you! Meredith Boger Principal Johnson Street Elementary
  • The biggest change was with the girl students. Last year at this time, every girl would sit under the tree and talk and not do anything. This year, opposite. I would say 70% of the girls in fifth grade were playing sports at recess. And not just playing, playing competitively and actually wanting to get better. Classroom Teacher
  • Two boys particularly come to mind, one who’s had significant behavior challenges historically, I mean forever. And I don’t think he’s received an office referral this year as being a part of the recess program and interventions. He looks forward to coming to shool… he is an AB honor roll student now and passed multiple EOGs… A different student was in my office once or twice a week and I haven’t seen him for a disciplinarian issue in months. This kid, in the fifth grade, has never passed an EOG before, is passing all of his EOG’s and scored a 5 on reading. This kid who has historically missed 20-30 days of school, and is now getting a third quarter attendance award.” – School Principal
